Riverside State Park Annual Meeting With John Roskelley



John Roskelley to be keynote speaker at Riverside State Park Foundation’s first Annual Meeting  

The Riverside State Park Foundation and park staff invites the public to join them as they host their inaugural Annual Meeting in Spokane. 

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Mountain Gear, 2002 N. Division, Spokane. Come learn more about Riverside State Park Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 that supports Riverside State Park. Hear first-hand from Park Manager, Chris Guidotti and Washington State Parks and Recreation Commissioner, Lucinda Whaley about the future of parks, facts and figures, the direction Riverside is headed and the importance of supporting the park system. In addition, come listen to the world renowned mountain climber John Roskelley, talk about his experiences at Riverside State Park including climbing, biking, running and wildlife. He will also be presenting a PowerPoint on paddling the Columbia River with emphasis on Washington.
  
Now is a great time to join the Riverside State Park Foundation as it introduces its newly created membership packages. The Foundation is instrumental with the fundraising for Riverside State Park through project support, education, volunteerism and events.
