She was nominated for her steadfastness.  She has persevered and continued to work hard even when things have been tough.

The Solvencia Award ("Soundness of Character") was created by the 2012/2013 Student School Board Representatives. It is a recognition program promoted by the NMFSD School Board and run by the School Board Representatives. Our goal is to recognize students in our community who are doing great things or overcoming great obstacles that one would not normally be recognized for, such as dramatic increases in academics, volunteer work in the local community, outstanding amounts of kindness being shown to others, etc. These are just a few of the many great things being done by our students who deserve recognition. Students nominated each month by classroom teachers will be selected and recognized at the monthly School Board Meetings.
