Nine Mile Falls is close to getting Dam Days back. 30 years ago the festival celebrated everything Nine Mile Falls and this year it looks to be a reality for revival on August 8th and 9th. The Dam Days committee, which is chaired by Stacey Calkins-Quimby, has been meeting every Tuesday at the Tin Cup Country Cafe on Charles Road at 5pm. Quimby said "Volunteers are going to be needed for all aspects of the event so we need folks to come to the meetings". As more information becomes available we will do follow up posts. The committee has only met three times but has made some great progress towards getting the event off the ground. The event is sponsored by the Nine Mile Community Club.
